Topology Optimization of Electromagnetic Metamaterials for Miniaturization of Wireless Communication Antennas (TopAnt)
Abstract
The goal of the project is to pursue the systematic synthesis of three-dimensional electromagnetic metamaterials using toplogy optimization. The general and fundamental properties of manufacturable metamaterials will be determined with a focus on their use for miniaturization of wireless communication antennas. The project is a cross-disciplinary cooperation between three DTU research groups in antennas and electromagnetics, modeling and toplogy optimization, and optics and photonics.
